Rules:

Aim to write between 50-500 words

Must include the daily prompt

Microfics must be standalone works and therefore cannot be snippets or extracts from existing or ongoing works

When posting, tag @taylorswiftmicrofic and include prompt/date, word count and any relevant content warnings

As Taylor Swift microfic is open to all fandoms, please tag your post with the relevant fandom and/or ships

When will the prompts be posted?

Prompts for the upcoming month will be posted on the last day of each month, with daily prompt reminders posted each day at 12am EST.

Can I write for any fandom and/or ship?

Yes, Taylor Swift microfic is open to all fandoms and ships!

Can I write more than 500 words?

We encourage you to challenge yourself to write a story within 50-500 words, however if you are feeling inspired, you are welcome to write more than this.

Can I combine prompts?

You are welcome to combine prompts from Taylor Swift microfic and/or other microfic challenges, if the other challenges allow it. If you are combining multiple microfic prompts into a series, please ensure you link previous works.

Can I write a microfic for previous prompts?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to write for any previous prompts, even if the date or month has already passed.

Are NSFW or dead dove works allowed?

Yes, please just make sure to tag appropriately and include any relevant content warnings if needed.

Will my microfic be reblogged?

We will aim to reblog all microfics that tag @taylorswiftmicrofic within 24-48 hours of posting, however this may vary depending on our mod's availability.
